Shelli Alred has been the owner and lead designer for Alred Wedding Consultants since 2003 after she left the apparel/ textiles industry to follow her passion. She has her Bachelors degree in Clothing and Textiles with a specialization in pattern making from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Shelli has been the fashion coordinator for several St. Louis Bride Magazine cover shoots and a design coordinator for a recent feature on current trends in bridal showers for Saint Louis Bridal Magazine.

Shelli is also a four-time consecutive Louie award winner for "Best Wedding (budget under $200 per person) and "Best Wedding (budget $200 per person and over)". Shelli has been the member of several organizations to help further her career and keeps up with the latest wedding trends and helps to bring them to the midwest.
